KP Human Development Foundation adopted Prabhu BCA College for differently abled students which is managed by Disable Welfare Trust of India’s, for next five years. From now on this college will be run by KP Human Development Foundation, and a MOU has been signed with Disable Welfare Trust of India for the same. The name plate unveiling was done by the hands of honourable Shri. Faruk G. Patel, CMD – KP Group and Shri. Kishorsinh Chavda, VC – Veer Narmad South Gujarat University.
KP Human donated a cheque of Rs. 12 lakhs to the founder of Disable Welfare Trust of India – Shri. Kanubhai Tailor and Trustee Mr. Mohanbhai. This amount will be disbursed on yearly basis and will be used for the expenses incurred as salaries of the professors, other administrative expenses and development of the college. On this occasion Shri. Kanubhai Tailor expressed gratitude towards Farukbhai Patel for this generous donation. For which Shri. Faruk G. Patel, while addressing the students revealed that this was not a donation, but his obligation and duty towards the society. Shri. Kishorsinh Chavda also appreciated this initiative of Farukbhai Patel and also expressed his support for Farukbhai’s suggestion, that once the reserved seats allotted to differently abled students are filled, the remaining seats should be allotted to the poor students who want to pursue their career in BCA. It is worth noting that, Farukbhai Patel already showed his humanitarian spirit by sending 91 students of Disable Welfare Trust of India on the trip of Haridwar, Rishikesh and Masoorie, and later on other 12 differently abled students along with their parents on Umrah to Islam’s most religious place Mecca-Madina. Before this, KP Human has also adopted JC Munshi school and Nagar Prathmik Sikshan Samiti schools.
